Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of tickets and participation in The Injection Show 2027, to be held in Bologna on 21-22 May 2027 at the Oratorio di San Filippo Neri. By completing your order you declare that you have read and accepted the following.
Organiser
The event is organised by STUDIO M.E.V. SRL, with registered office at Via Servi di Maria 3, 96100 Siracusa (SR), Italy, tax code and VAT no. 01911780896, email info@injectionshow.com (the "Organiser").
Conclusion of the contract
A participant account is required in order to purchase. The order submitted through the website constitutes a purchase proposal: the contract is concluded when payment is successful and you receive the order confirmation with the tickets by email. Before payment you can review and correct the data entered in the order summary. The Organiser may decline incomplete orders, orders with manifestly incorrect data, or orders affected by supervening unavailability of seats: in such cases any amount already charged is refunded in full.
Tickets, tiers and seats
Tickets are personal and issued in the participant's name, and grant access according to the tier purchased (Standard, Gold or VIP) and any add-ons (e.g. Gala Dinner). Tickets are issued digitally (PDF with QR code) and sent by email; the QR code is valid for a single entry. Availability is limited: seats are confirmed upon conclusion of the order and, where seat selection is available, according to the allocation made at the time of purchase. The Gala Dinner is a paid additional service, subject to availability and not included in the entry ticket. Some VIP ticket benefits are subject to limited availability: the copy of Prof. Douglas A. Terry's book is guaranteed to the first paid VIP orders, in chronological order of payment and within the number of copies available — the remaining availability is shown on the ticket page before purchase, and a refunded or cancelled order releases its copy. The book signing with the author takes place at the GC stand at the times announced on site and is open to every attendee.
Prices and VAT
Prices shown on the website are stated in euro and are EXCLUSIVE of VAT. Italian VAT at the statutory rate (currently 22%) is added to the amount and is calculated and shown in the order summary before payment. For purchases with foreign billing details, Italian VAT is not applied where provided for by law. Prices may change over time (date-based pricing tiers): the price shown at the time the order is concluded applies.
Payments and invoicing
Payment is made through Stripe (credit/debit card) or PayPal; upon written request to info@injectionshow.com, payment by bank transfer may be arranged. The Organiser has no access to full payment instrument details, which are processed directly by the providers. The invoice or tax document is issued on the basis of the billing details provided at the time of the order: it is your responsibility to enter them correctly and completely.
Right of withdrawal (consumers)
If you purchase as a consumer, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of its conclusion, without giving any reason, by writing to info@injectionshow.com from the email address associated with the order. The refund is issued within 14 days of receipt of the request, using the same means of payment used for the purchase. The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised after the event has taken place, nor where the request is received once the event has already started. The right of withdrawal does not apply to purchases made in the course of a business or professional activity.
Model withdrawal form
Below you find the model withdrawal form set out in Annex I, part B, of the Italian Consumer Code. Using it is your option, not an obligation, and it is not the only way to withdraw: any other explicit statement is equally valid, provided it reaches us within the 14 days and leaves no doubt that you wish to withdraw. An email to info@injectionshow.com saying "I withdraw from order no. …" has exactly the same effect as this form. The form is for those who prefer to have the fields ready in front of them: you can print it and fill it in by hand, or copy its text into the body of an email. It is not submitted from this page and the website does not generate a pre-filled PDF: you send it yourself, to the address shown on the first line. Keep a copy of what you send, because the burden of proving that you exercised withdrawal in time rests with you (art. 54(2) of the Consumer Code).
Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.

Refunds, changes and name changes
- Beyond the withdrawal period there is no automatic right to a refund: you may nevertheless submit a reasoned refund request from your account area, which the secretariat assesses on a case-by-case basis and is not obliged to grant.
- Changing the participant's name is free of charge and may be requested up to 7 days before the start of the event by writing to info@injectionshow.com, subject to availability and consistency with the tier purchased.
- Approved refunds are issued using the same means of payment used for the purchase, normally within 14 days of approval.
- Failure to attend the event (no-show) does not give rise to any refund.
Cancellation or postponement of the event
If the event is cancelled by the Organiser, you are entitled to a full refund of the amount paid for tickets and add-ons. If the event is postponed to a new date, your ticket remains valid for the new date; if you are unable to attend, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the announcement of the new date. In both cases, incidental expenses incurred independently (travel, accommodation and similar) are not refundable.
Event access and rules of conduct
Access is granted upon presentation of the ticket (badge/QR) and a valid identity document, which must match the name on the ticket. The Organiser may deny or revoke access, without refund, in the event of an invalid, duplicated or irregularly transferred ticket, or of conduct contrary to the law, to the venue rules, or such as to jeopardise safety and the proper running of the event. You must comply with the instructions of the staff and with the rules of the host venue.
Programme changes
The programme, speakers, session titles and timings may change for organisational reasons or for causes not attributable to the Organiser. The Organiser promptly communicates significant changes through the website and by email. The replacement of one or more speakers, or non-substantial changes to the programme, do not give rise to a refund of the ticket.
Injection Awards
Participation in the Injection Awards is reserved to holders of a paid ticket and takes place through the form in the account area. Submissions close on 15 May 2027.
- The case must be treated with injective techniques, chosen by the applicant, and may be aesthetic, multidisciplinary, conservative or of another nature.
- At least three photographs must be uploaded (initial, intraoperative and final), together with the case description and the reasons for the technique used; further supporting material may be attached.
- By submitting the case you declare that you have obtained the patient's consent to the processing and reproduction of the images for the scientific and educational purposes of the event, and that you have removed from the files any data that could identify them: name, date of birth, record number, references visible in the images and file metadata. You collect that consent yourself, within your own relationship with the patient: the patient has no relationship with the Organiser and gives no consent to them. The Organiser does not contact the patient, neither asks for nor should receive their identifying data, and is in no position to verify the declaration: it relies on it.
- Selection happens in two steps: the event committee identifies the finalists, the final choice rests with Prof. Douglas A. Terry. The decision is final and not open to challenge.
- The winning case is projected and discussed on stage in front of the audience and the award is presented by Prof. Terry: the projection in the hall is part of the submission and requires no separate tick, because it is the prize you are competing for. The separate tick concerns the gallery reserved to attendees only: there the case appears solely with your consent, which can be withdrawn at any time, and withdrawal removes it from the gallery without removing it from the competition.
- Participation is free of charge and gives rise to no payment to the applicant; the Organiser may decide not to award the prize if no suitable submissions are received.
- By submitting the case you grant the Organiser a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence over the images and texts you upload, limited to the purposes of this edition of the Injection Awards: review by the secretariat and the committee, the final choice by Prof. Douglas A. Terry, the projection and discussion in the hall of the winning case and — only if you have also given the separate publication consent — the gallery reserved to attendees. Your name always appears as the author. The licence does not extend to later editions, does not allow the materials to be passed on to sponsors, exhibitors or publishers, and does not cover uses other than those listed here: for any other use the Organiser must ask you for separate authorisation. In particular it does not cover the photography and filming of the event dealt with in the "Photography and filming" section: if the award ceremony is filmed, the clinical images projected stay out of the documentation and promotional material, future editions included. You remain the owner of the rights in the images and texts, and nothing prevents you from using them as you see fit elsewhere.
- The licence lasts as long as the materials are kept: it ends when the photographs and texts are deleted, that is 24 months after the end of the edition you submitted them to, or earlier if you ask for their removal. You can withdraw the gallery publication consent at any time by writing to info@injectionshow.com; the withdrawal takes effect for the future and does not require the recall of what has already been shown in the hall or already distributed. If the patient withdraws, towards you, the consent you had obtained, tell the Organiser immediately: from that moment the case is no longer used and the materials are deleted.
Certificate of attendance
The certificate of attendance appears in your account area in the days following the end of the event — the page tells you the exact date — and requires neither a request nor an approval: the system issues it automatically to anyone holding a ticket on a paid order. This is the Organiser's choice, and it is worth stating plainly: the certificate attests your entitlement to take part in the edition, not physical presence recorded in the hall, and it carries no ECM credits. It remains the case that failure to attend the event does not give rise to a refund of the ticket.
Photography and filming
The event may be photographed and filmed by the Organiser and by parties appointed by it, for the purpose of documenting and promoting the event and its future editions. By attending, you are aware that you may appear in general shots of the hall and the audience. Specific consent is collected for any individual filming or interviews. The clinical cases of the Injection Awards stay outside this authorisation: the patients' photographs and the texts accompanying them are not covered by it and are covered only by the licence described in the "Injection Awards" section, which applies to this edition and does not extend to future ones. If the award ceremony is filmed, the clinical images projected are excluded from the footage intended for documentation and promotion; using them would require the separate authorisation provided for by that licence. The reason is simple: those images depict a patient who has no relationship with the Organiser and of whom the Organiser has asked nothing. You may object or request the removal of content depicting you by writing to info@injectionshow.com; for details of the processing, see the Privacy Policy.
Intellectual property
The contents of the event and of the website (teaching materials, presentations, recordings, texts, images, trade marks and logos) are protected by the intellectual property rights of the Organiser or of the respective owners. Audio/video recording of the sessions is not permitted, nor is the reproduction, dissemination or distribution of materials without written authorisation. Any materials made available to participants are for personal use.
Liability
The Organiser is not liable for impediments or disruptions due to force majeure or otherwise not attributable to it (including measures by the authorities, strikes, natural events, interruptions of third-party services). To the extent permitted by law, and without prejudice to liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury and any other case that cannot be excluded, the Organiser's liability is limited to the amount paid for the ticket. The Organiser is not liable for the safekeeping of personal belongings, nor for relations between participants and sponsors or exhibitors.
Personal data
Personal data is processed in accordance with the website's Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of the notice provided under Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
Complaints and dispute resolution
For any complaint you may write to info@injectionshow.com: we undertake to reply as soon as possible. Before resorting to the courts, the parties may attempt an amicable settlement, including through mediation bodies and the ADR procedures provided for by applicable law.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Italian law. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the court of Siracusa; if you purchase as a consumer, the mandatory jurisdiction of the place of your residence or elected domicile applies.
Specific approval of certain clauses (art. 1341 of the Italian Civil Code)
Most people who buy a ticket for this congress do so in the course of their profession or business, not as consumers. Towards such buyers, some clauses of these Terms take effect only if they are approved a second time and specifically, separately from the general acceptance of the conditions: this is required by art. 1341, second paragraph, of the Italian Civil Code. They are the clauses listed below, referred to by the title of the section in which they appear — the sections of these Terms are not numbered, and the title is the more stable reference.
- "Conclusion of the contract": the Organiser's right to decline an order in the event of incomplete or manifestly incorrect data, or of supervening unavailability of seats, with full refund of any amount already charged.
- "Refunds, changes and name changes": absence of an automatic right to a refund beyond the withdrawal period and discretionary assessment of requests; a 7-day time limit before the event for changing the participant's name; exclusion of any refund in the event of non-attendance.
- "Cancellation or postponement of the event": exclusion of refunds for incidental expenses incurred independently, and a 14-day time limit from the announcement of the new date to request a refund in the event of postponement.
- "Event access and rules of conduct": the Organiser's right to deny or revoke access without refund.
- "Programme changes": the right to vary the programme, speakers, titles and timings, with neither the replacement of speakers nor non-substantial changes giving rise to a refund of the ticket.
- "Injection Awards": the decision being final and not open to challenge; the Organiser's right not to award the prize.
- "Liability": limitation of the Organiser's liability to the amount paid for the ticket; exclusion of liability for the safekeeping of personal belongings and for relations between participants and sponsors or exhibitors.
- "Governing law and jurisdiction": jurisdiction of the court of Siracusa. The clause designates that court without declaring it exclusive, so the courts provided for by law remain available as well.
If you purchase as a consumer, this section does not concern you. The rules of the Italian Consumer Code on unfair terms apply to you, which are stricter than art. 1341 and cannot be overcome by an approval: among others, the mandatory jurisdiction of the place of your residence or elected domicile and the right of withdrawal described above remain unaffected.
Changes to the Terms
The Organiser may update these Terms for regulatory or organisational reasons. The version published on the website at the time your order is concluded applies to your purchase; the date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
